England may be hosting Italy at Wembley Stadium this Tuesday evening, but the real football action is happening at Lowfield, where Hoddesdon Town host high flying Harlow Town.

Off the back of a disappointing loss to Southend Manor this past Saturday, Simon Riddle's men will be looking to rebuild fortress Lowfield and put in a performance worthy of the three points.

14 points currently separate the sides, with Harlow laying in 6th and Hoddesdon in 20th, although Harlow have played 5 more games than Hoddesdon. Last time out, Harlow suffered home defeat to Benfleet, losing 2-1 to the same team that tormented Hoddesdon just 9 days ago.

Hoddesdon will have to be aware of prolific Harlow forward Gavin Cockman, who has netted for the Essex based side 11 times already this season. Coming off the back of a man of the match performance at the weekend, goalkeeper Liam Nugent will be hoping for a quieter 90 minutes this time around.

Manager Simon Riddle will also be hoping that some of his key players will be returning to action. In recent games he has had to do without the likes of Connor Bolton, Aiden Critchley, Narcis Filip, Blue Gallagher, Jack Riddle and Harrison Cage for a variety of different reasons.

HARLOW TOWN FC PEN PICTURES 2023-24

Danny Chapman (Manager)
Experienced defender who made over 200 appearances for the Hawks having first signed for the club
in 2003, after spells with the likes of Barnet and Wingate & Finchley. Chapman left the club in
December 2008, but returned in February 2010. He was appointed as the club’s manager in February
2011. He led the team to a triumphant play-off victory in 2015/16 after the heartache of being losing
finalists in 2013/14 & semi-finals in 2014/15. He took some time out from football in January 2020
after 9 years at the helm but returned to his role in December 2020.

Leon Antoine (Assistant Manager)
We are delighted that Leon has joined us as Assistant manager for this season, Leon joined Harlow
Town in 2015 and was a member of our promotion winning squad in the 2015/16 season.

Thomas Church (Coach)
Thomas joined us as a coach this season after spending many years around the club from an early age
helping with the First Team after being part of our Youth set up and we are delighted to welcome him
to the first team.

Frank Crook (Goalkeeper Coach)
Frank joined us this season as goalkeeper coach after coming from our Youth set up.

Alex Luque (Defender)
Alex returned to Harlow after being in the 2022-23 squad, Alex is a Harlow Lad whose father Miguel
also played for Harlow Town in the 1980’s

Arley Barker (Midfielder)
Arley is a midfielder who is a local lad who joined the Hawks after playing for Ongar Town last season.

Ashton Wilkins (Midfielder)
Ashton signed forms for us in July 2023 after been part of the Billericay Town Reserves.

Bobby Kirby(Defender)
Bobby joins us this season from the under 18’s and can play as Left Back or Left Wing.

Gavin Cockman (Forward)
Gavin is an experienced striker who is a local lad, Gavin previously played for Enfield FC and Gavins
father Paul also played for the club in the 1990’s.

Glenn Roberts (Goalkeeper)
Glenn joined us as one of our youth coaches and brings with him a wealth of experience.

Ishaq Ameen (Forward)
Ishaq is a young striker who joins us from Barking FC, Ishaq played youth football for both Crystal
Palace and Leyton Orient and has a great eye for goal.

Jack Cousins (Midfielder)
Jack joined the Hawks in August 2023, he is a central midfielder whose previous clubs included the
promotion winning Enfield FC.

Jack Martin (Defender)
Jack is a left back who joined us from Takeley fc after having spells with Haverhill Rovers and Hasthtag
United. He also spent seven years in the Youth set up at Colchester Utd.

James Folkes (Defender)
James joined the Hawks in the 22/23 season after coming from Barking,
We are delighted that James has returned this season as our Captain.

James Pellin (Goalkeeper)
James signed for the Hawks in July 2023 after being part of Dunmow Town’s promotion winning
squad the previous season.

Josh Brown (Forward)
Josh is a young prolific striker who has played for Billericay Under 23’s and Reserves.

Junior Dadosn (Midfielder)
Junior Dadson joined the Hawks for a fourth spell in August 2023, Junior originally joined the
Hawks in the 2013/14 season and is a pacy winger who can play on the left or right wing.

Korede Da Silva (Midfielder)
Korede came to us through our trials system in the summer and impressed us as a tenacious
midfielder.

Raheem Gray (Forward)
Raheem joined Harlow Town from Frenford FC in October 2023, during his time at Frenford FC he
was their leading goal scorer and their player of the year in the 2022/23 season.

Rio Taylor (Goalkeeper)
Rio impressed us last year with his efforts in goal for the under 16’s and is a great up and coming
keeper.

Ruben Santos (Midfielder)
Ruben signed for us for the 23/24 season and impressed pre-season, Ruben comes to us from
London Helvecia Futsal Club.

Roman Percil (Midfielder)
We are delighted that Roman has signed for the 23/24 season, Roman came through the Spurs
academy and his previous clubs include Braintree Town and East Thurrock, Roman is the nephew
of former player Marc Samuel who up until 2022 was the clubs record goal scorer.

Taylor Hastings (Defender)
Taylor returned to The Hawks after spending the 2018/19 season with us, Taylor previously played
for Mildenhall Town and is a Central Defender

Tom Jelliman (Midfielder)
Tom is a a local lad who is an experienced Midfielder who has previously played for Saffron
Walden and Takeley.

Fabion Simms (Defender/Midfielder)
Fabion originally signed for The Hawks in March 2014 and was part of our promotion winning
squad of the 2015/16 season, this will be Fabions fourth spell at Harlow Town FC.

William Smallshaw (Defender)
William joined the ranks in 2022 after impressing in our Under 18’s in the 22/23 season and we are
delighted that he has returned to us this season.
