Monday Night Spurs Double Header

'The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It's nothing of the kind. The game is about glory. It is about doing things in style, with a flourish, about going out & beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom...'
- Danny Blanchflower - Tottenham Hotspur

A different sort of 'Lilywhites' will be taking to the Lowfield turf on Monday evening as we host Tottenham Hotspur Women's Emerging Talent Squad in a unique double header.

Two games will be played out under the Lowfield lights and once again we are excited to host 'The Spurs' as some of their hottest prospects don the second most famous white shirt in all of world football.

The first game features their Under 15 side and will kick off at 5pm. This will be followed by a 7:30pm kick off for their Under 16 squad.

The Tottenham Hotspur Women’s Academy programme is for girls in school years 8 -13 and provides a full player development curriculum, incorporating technical and tactical coaching, games, medical access, sports science/strength and conditioning, analysis and lifestyle support whilst maintaining a dual career approach and philosophy.

The aim of the Women’s Academy Programme is to provide players from Tottenham and surrounding areas with an extensive programme which will provide support to them in both their sporting and academic aspirations. In addition to players gaining opportunities with the women’s First Team, they also connect with other Clubs across Tiers 1 – 5 of the women’s pathway.

Our ongoing relationship with Tottenham Hotspur means we are able to bring you some of the brightest young talent in the game and we are excited to host the Tottenham Ladies at Lowfield this season. This is also part of our plan to bring even more football action to Lowfield, which includes hosting the likes of Broxbourne Badgers, Inter Trac Vets, Man vs Fat, Hoddesdon Town Youth Football Club, charity games, and of course, Tottenham Hotspur.

There will be hot and cold refreshments available from the bar and tea bar and entry to both games is completely FREE!

See you there and Come On You Spurs!!
