Hoddesdon Town Football Club is delighted to share the results of the August edition of The Fundraising Club Lottery, which took place on Sunday 31st August.

Once again, the monthly draw offered supporters the chance to win fantastic cash prizes while directly supporting the development of our football club.

This month, our very own Committee Member and Lottery Coordinator, Jon Dean, was among the lucky winners, scooping one of the twenty third prizes worth £50. Jon, who has worked on behalf of the club to help grow the scheme, was understandably pleased to see his name come out of the hat.

Speaking after the announcement, Jon said:

“It’s a great feeling to win, but what’s even more important is knowing that every ticket makes a difference to Hoddesdon Town FC. The lottery is such an easy way for fans, friends, and families to contribute to the club’s future while being in with a chance to win themselves. I’d encourage anyone who hasn’t signed up yet to get involved – you never know, next month it could be your name in the winners’ list!”

How the Lottery Works

The Fundraising Club Lottery has become a key initiative in helping Hoddesdon Town Football Club raise vital funds for equipment, facilities, and the long-term development of the club. By joining, supporters are not only entering a monthly prize draw but are also making a meaningful contribution to the future of grassroots football in our community.

Here’s how it works:

• Entry costs just £10 per month
• £6 from every ticket goes directly back to Hoddesdon Town FC as a fundraising grant
• Every month, players are entered into a draw with 22 guaranteed prizes

Prizes include:

• 1st Prize – £5,000 (plus automatic entry into a Bonus Jackpot draw for a chance to win an extra £20,000)
• 2nd Prize – £2,000
• 3rd Prize – 20 x £50

That means a total jackpot potential of £25,000 tax-free!

In addition, every supporter who signs up receives a FREE Gourmet Society Membership worth £34, which gives up to 50% off meals, days out, and cinema tickets. It’s our way of saying thank you for backing the club.

How to Enter

Signing up couldn’t be easier:

• Visit the Hoddesdon Town Football Club website
• Click the ‘Lottery’ tab and complete the secure online payment form
• Once registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your unique ticket number
• £10 will be automatically taken from your account each month to enter you into the draw

The winning tickets are selected at random on the final day of each month, and winners are notified directly by email. Within 30 days of the draw, £6 from every £10 ticket purchased is sent directly to Hoddesdon Town FC, meaning your support has an immediate impact.
