Hoddesdon Town Football Club are delighted to announce an exciting new date for the diary this summer, as the club takes to the fairways for a fantastic day of sport and socialising at one of Hertfordshire’s most picturesque venues.

On Monday 6th July 2026, supporters, players, sponsors and friends of the club are invited to tee off at the stunning Essendon Country Club for the Hoddesdon Town FC Golf Day – a brilliant opportunity to enjoy top-class golf in great company, all while supporting your local club.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Hertfordshire countryside, Essendon’s immaculate New Course provides the perfect stage for what promises to be a memorable day. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer with a single-figure handicap or someone who enjoys the occasional swing, this event is open to all and designed to be as inclusive as it is enjoyable.

A FULL DAY OF ACTION AND ENTERTAINMENT

The day gets underway from 10:00am, giving participants plenty of time to arrive, settle in, and soak up the atmosphere. Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed with tea, coffee, and a bacon roll – the perfect pre-round fuel to get you ready for the challenges ahead.

Players will also benefit from free range balls, allowing you to loosen up and fine-tune your swing before heading out onto the course.

Tee times will begin from 11:20am, with groups heading out across the stunning 18-hole layout. The New Course at Essendon is renowned for its pristine fairways, cleverly designed hazards, and breathtaking scenery, making it a true test of skill while remaining enjoyable for golfers of all abilities.
