On a day to be forgotten with the first team succumbing to heavy defeat away at Benfleet, we thought it best to raise your spirits with a good news story!

Three of our regular first team players have achieved important and impressive milestones recently, with one other about to hit one too.

First up, shot stopper and fan favourite Liam Nugent played his 100th game for the Lilywhites last Tuesday in the 4-2 home win v St Margaretsbury.

Captain Jack Gibbs was only one game behind him and so played his 100th game today away at Benfleet, although we are sure it's a game he will want to put to the back of his mind pretty quickly! Lets hope 101 is a bit more memorable!

Before this website launched, Connor Bolton hit the dizzy heights of 150 Hoddesdon appearances early in the season, so we felt it only right to mention him in this article and send our congratulations to somebody whose loyalty to the club has been brilliant. If it wasn't for all those exotic holidays, who knows, he could have been over the 200 mark by now...!

And finally, Blue Gallagher currently sits on 149 appearances and will reach his 150th in his next game for the club.

We extend our congratulations to all 4 players, and, in an era where loyalty in non league football is rather rare, we thank them all for their contributions to the club on the field.
